CNC specimens are, in principle, available on loan for any scientific research that does not infringe on their safety and integrity as archival objects. For more information on these conditions, please download the loan policy pdf document listed below.

The CNC encourages use of its collections in as many ways as possible for the furtherance of scientific study, including sampling that may destroy part or all of a specimen. However, the CNC requires that all types of destructive sampling be requested in writing and approved. Further information can be found in the CNC destructive sampling policy document below.
